Faculty of Forestry

Faculty of Forestry was established in 1955 under Nong Lam Suc University. Faculty of Forestry, Nong Lam University Ho Chi Minh City is merged from 3 faculties: Forest Faculty of Agriculture 4 University, Faculty of Forestry and Faculty of Forestry Industry of Dong Nai Forestry College since 1985. Currently, the faculty has 3 undergraduate majors: Forestry; Resources management and Forest Environment; Urban forestry; and Wood Technology with 5 departments. In addition, the Faculty has two graduate programs: Forestry and Wood Technology; Doctoral training in 2 majors: Silviculture and Wood Technology.

The Faculty of Forestry has been training many engineers and masters and doctors in the fields of Forestry, Forest Resource Management and Wood Technology nationwide. Engineers and masters and doctors trained at the Faculty are currently holding positions of responsibility in Departments, Divisions, Schools, Institutes and Businesses. The training reputation of the Faculty of Forestry has been recognized by institutions, most of the graduates get jobs in their field of study.
